We Look to the Support of our Community
The exclusive purpose of Group ABA Children’s Society is to provide support to the GABA Autism Program & Kindergarten and Fawkes Academy. These programs use scientifically proven methods to teach children and adolescents with autism and other complex developmental disabilities. The GABA Autism Program & Kindergarten in particular provides 15-20 hours of weekly intensive behavioral intervention in a group school like setting. The curriculum for each child at GABA encompasses a broad range of educational, language, behavioural, social, and functional life skills designed to enable them to reach the fullest extent of their abilities and to lead fulfilling and productive lives with as much independence as possible.

GABA Autism Program & Kindergarten strives to have an open door policy and our Society does all it can to help the program keep costs low and manageable for any family seeking early intensive intervention, regardless of the family’s ability to pay the full cost of the program. We are able to do this because of contributions from those in our community like you. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and the money donated to GABA Autism Program & Kindergarten goes directly to helping parents pay for:
- 15-20 hours per week of early intensive education for their child or children with autism.
- Weekly group social skills training for their child or children with autism.
- In home, in school, and community consultation for their child or children with autism.
- Monthly parent training workshops and meetings with child care provided.
